now i have two tuition centers to choose from - kentridge - stanford. ppl recommended kentridge to my mum/me BUT the stupid chem lesson only have one time slot, and it's on sunday!!! aka my theory lesson day =.= and stanford have more time slots so it's like no problem for me but ppl keep telling me that stanford sucks. wdv. i dont really care bout which tuition centers is better, as long as they can help me get a decent B or A can already. i just checked acjc 2008 DSA criteria so i kinda know wad to expect for next yr's criteria when i apply for it. apparently, the gifted music thingy is like impossible. cause they want students who have already attained diploma. i know, WTH. and i havnt even thought bout taking dip can? and i was only planning to take during J1 or something like that. shit lah. i think eunice can apply since she's really pro in piano and she just took her dip last week. so gifted music crap thingy - ditto and the other one that i can apply for is STRINGS. BAH. sigh. but that one is more simpler. they want ppl with at least grade6. so i'm like wdv bout it since i finished grade8 already. they also want like some certified cert thingo that we really have experience in ensembles etc. so i can just ask mrs chan to write a letter. BUT the shitty thing bout DSA to jc is the academic part. cause they want a copy of sec3 mid yrs and end yrs. FYI my mid yrs was the pits. i got F9 for bio =.= at least i got B3 for end yrs. yes, i know. but i wasnt the one who from F9 jump to B3. and obviously copies of sec4 result slips. and a lot of ppl told me that it's really hard to DSA into JCs, especially acjc(?). so i really have no idea. unless they are really in need of players in strings or i mug until siao next yr so the academic part would be fine, or i dont think i'll have a chance for DSA then. ohwells. life sucks Sunday, December 21, 2008, 10:10 PM

cause my dad's boss is the chairman of hc, and then he asked my dad bout stuff like 'how's ur children doing?' etc. then he rmb i studied in mgs (the sch that he described as the school with loads of cars in the morning. lols. i think he live at old holland rd there) anyways, he was like 'ur eldest daughter's sec4 next yr?' yes unfortunately. then he asked again 'with ur daughter's okay with it, i can get her over to hc for jc:D' WOW. thanks, but no thanks man. |
